ButtonUp was established in 2017, and aims to inspire and uplift others to reach their full potential, as well as have the necessary tools to not just cope, but deal with the different seasons of life. ButtonUp offers Motivational Shows, Motivational Talks, Motivational Workshops, Face to Face Motivation and Confidence Classes.

The heart of ButtonUp is Maryka Roux (www.maryka.co.za): a joyous speaker, singer, actress, drama teacher, lecturer, writer and businesswoman that believes: “Life is a series of ups and downs, but that is the sign of a healthy heart!” and that “you only have one life, but if you live it well, one is enough”. With a Master’s Degree in Film and Drama (Cum Laude), Life Purpose:Life Coach Certification, more than 9 years of experience with lecturing and drama teaching, as well as 15 years of acting behind her name; the stage is not a stranger to Maryka and the passion to talk is second nature.

In 2017 Maryka was called for Motivational Speaking and since going into it full time in 2019, she has done over 40 Motivational Talks and Workshops. Her very first one-woman show kicked off in 2019 and is going on tour in mid-March 2020 (see shows – on hold due to Covid19, we will notify you when we are on the road again).
